Crushing is a silent comic that walks through a beautiful black-and-white dreamscape, brought to life by elegant risograph printing and distinct colours. A meditation on birth, wordplay, life and death, Crushing is a truly unique comic.
As well as the comic itself, the zine also includes notes and reflections from Kristen Haas Curtis on drawing, dreams and rejection, and gives background to the comic’s original inception as a piece for the 2017 Fumetto Internationales Comix Festival in Luzern, Switzerland.
